Habitat
Mixed seasonal forest on undulating land. Valley bottom, edge of clearing.

Description
Tree 21 m x 38 cm dia. Bole ± straight, flattened on 2 sides, 15 m. Buttresses steep, narrow, widening towards ground. Branching sympodial, ascending, then spreading. Bark grey, many vertical fissures, large horizontal lens shaped marks to c 15 cm. Slash chesnut, 5 mm. Wood white oxidising dark brown. Petioles reddish. Fls. terminal. K 5-lobed, green, becoming brown. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile.
