"I am unable to identify the handwriting under the other specimen of Pinus edulis annotated "DR. Woodhouse, Sitgreaves expedition"; but I have doubts whether this gathering corresponds to Dr. Woodhouse's specimen, figured on plate 20 in L. Sitgreaves "Report..Zuni and Colorado Rivers,,,", 1853." annotation by F. lauria, 07 Dec 1990.
