B.F. Hansen & Wunderlin
POACEAE
Much-branched herbs with stems to 1 Sin long,
forming a dense clump. Weed in a pot with an
atentionally cultivated plant in the Apocynaceae.
Growing in the greenhouse on top of the
Biological Laboratories building, Harvard
University, Cambridge, Middlesex Co.,
lassachusetts. Origin unknown, but probably the
offspring of plants in some of my pots of
flatwoods sod from Florida (since given to
Wellesley College), these pots from Avon Park
Vir Force Range, Highlands or Polk Co., Florida,
'hese pots of sod were nearby this weedy grass in
he greenhouse at the time I made this herbarium
specimen.
