Harvard University, Gray Herbarium (GH) CULTIVATED PLANTS BOTANICAL QardE^ New York Botanical Garden Dichanthelium portoricense (Desv. ex Ham.) B.F. Hansen & Wunderlin POACEAE Much-branched herbs with stems to 1 Sin long, forming a dense clump. Weed in a pot with an atentionally cultivated plant in the Apocynaceae. Growing in the greenhouse on top of the Biological Laboratories building, Harvard University, Cambridge, Middlesex Co., lassachusetts. Origin unknown, but probably the offspring of plants in some of my pots of flatwoods sod from Florida (since given to Wellesley College), these pots from Avon Park Vir Force Range, Highlands or Polk Co., Florida, 'hese pots of sod were nearby this weedy grass in he greenhouse at the time I made this herbarium specimen.
