Habitat
Primary evergreen forest with patches of secondary vegetation. Soils tending to be sandy, derived from metamorphic rock (schist or gneiss).

Description
1.5 m shrub, petals pale yellow with green pedicels and peduncles, fruit purple black with reddish pedicels and peduncles. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Flower.
