With 5268, in white spruce forest; These mosses forming deep mat on forest floor; Shrubs: Arctostaphylos spp., Viburnum, Potentilla, Juniperus spp., Rosa, Vaccinium vitis idaea; Herbs: Geocaulon, Mitella, Pyrola, Cornus canadensis, Tofieldia pusilla. Common to abundant.
