Jackson County: Grand Bay National Wildlife Refuge near
Moss Point Visitors’ Center of 1-10, between the
Mississippi/Alabama state line and the Escatwapa River.
North of Moss Point. Boardwalk area between swamp and
visitors’ center. 30.4629°N, 88.44257°W. Open, wet pine flat
with Rhynchospora, Eriocaulon, Sarracenia, and
Lycopodiella. Common at this site. Spikelets purplish. Basal
rosette reduced, appears missing.
