Habitat
secondary forest and roadside slopes. locally common but very little in flower.

Description
terrestrial shrub with branches arching to 4 m long. pedicels, calyx and lower 3/4 of corolla orange, upper 1/4 limb and lobes light yellowish-green; flowers inhabited by midges.
