Dwarf bosque humedo and secondary scrub. Very common.

Description
Shrub to 2 m; leaves semi-coriaceous, bullate, very discolorous, mid-green above, with an ochre-brown indumentum below; calyces ochre-brown, petals cream, anthers golden-yellow, style white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
