Habitat
In montane forest of Tsuga mertensiana with dense shrub layer of Rubus spectabilis-Menziesia ferruginea-Oplopanax horribilis & in subalpine zone with Tsuga-Abies lasiocarpa. Siliceous rock outcrops with numerous seeps & wet rock cliffs.
