Iferra firme forest on yellow clay latosol.
Tree 30m, dbh 40cm. Bark orangey brown
to chocolate brown/black, peeling in long
strips spiralling round trunk. Inner bark
orangey brown, layered, darkening to
deep orange and with clear orange sap.
Wood cream. Inflorescences slightly ru-
fous-velutinous, flowers green.
