from FS Rd. 1S01 (Rd. to Sawmill Mdw.). (Glass Mtn. quad:
37° 47.245'N, 118° 41.343'W; T2S R30E S8, SW/4 of NE/4).
Alt.: 2683m/8800ft.
Small springfed wet meadow on fine pumice alluvium, dominated
by Eleocharis, Carex, Juncus. Evidently heavily grazed with
many hoof-packed muddy areas. With Achillea millefolium,
Veratrum californicum, Mimulus primuloides, Stellaria longipes,
Sphenosciadium capitellatum, and closely encroaching dense forest
of Pinus contorta and Populus tremuloides.
Common, widely scattered throughout meadow.
