In fallow field; on terrace on south side of Deal
Creek. Site #26 (Lat.	Long. 82°b2'Q0"),
3 miles southwest of town of Lowndesville, S. C.;
ca. 1.5 miles east of the confluence of Allen Creek
with the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour
(full pool for proposed Russell Lake). Area to be
impounded in mid—1980’s.
