NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, at the southeast comer of
Paumonek Drive and Jericho Turnpike, next to the road sign. Culms
glaucus-blue. To about 1 meter high. In dry, sandy, gritty curb-side
soil at the edge of an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Artemisia
vulgaris, Acer platanoides, and Alliaria petiolata.
