Loca lity: Grenada, St. Patrick, Lake Antoine, slopes above Lake Antoine, N side of crater. 12°10' N, 61°36'W Alt. (m): 150 Notes: Small to medium-sized multi-stemmed tree with an open crown to 8 m height. Outer bark smooth, pale yellow-grey with occasional horizontal creases with lenticels aligned in wavy vertical strips. Slash granular with vertical fibrous streaks, outer layer green, pale orange-cream, sweet vegetable smell like courgettes. Leaves, some with as few as 5 leaflets; upper surface -midrib and all venation slightly impressed and yellow; Lower surface - midrib prominent, laterals flat, yellow, all venation visible as more translucent.
