Chiapas: Mun. Tenejapa, 2.2 km along the road to Matzam
before Paraje Banabil, turnoff from the San Cristobal de
las Casas-Tenejapa road at Las Ollas. 2311 m. 92® 32'W,
16° 48'N.
At the edge of a disturbed pine/oak forest, apparently
persisting along banks and slopes. Viny, climbing on
trees and shrubs, culms to 4-5 m long, to 2-3 mm in
diameter. Vegetative. Central branches developing.
