Much bigger plant than litis et al. 29708
with stems to 7m, below road on margin of
arroyo.
Humid deciduous tropical forest (Bosque
Tropical Caudicifolia Humedad) localized
along deep arroyos (cañadas), with thickets
of Chusquea, Citharexylum and Bernardia in
dry deciduous tropical woodland on either
side), on steep NE-facing limestone slopes,
on old brecha road from Lagunilla down the
steep ESE-facing slope of Cerro Grande to
Campo Cuatro; 2-6km N and above Campo Cuatro
(Camp 4 of the old German logging railroad).
18-23km NW of Colima.
