  • Description

    Terrestrial in swampy area; petioles terete, semiglossy, medium to dark green, sheathed only in the lower 20-25 cm, pale-speckled; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and semiglossy above, moderately paler and weakly glossy below; midrib deeply sunken and concolorous above, narrowly rounded and moderately paler, matte below; primary lateral veins weakly quilted-sunken and concolorous above, weakly pleated-raised below; inflorescence erect, held at ca. level of leaves; spathe whitish and matte on inside, heavily tinged green outside on the midrib and adjacent to the midrib; spadix 4.3 cm long, 9 mm diam., creamy white; stipe 1.5 cm long in front, 1 cm in back; fruiting spadix yellow-green, 6.5 cm long, 5 cm diam.
