Chusquea bilimekii Fournier
Veracruz: Mun. Calcahualco, ca. 2 km above town of San
Miguel Tlaquiotiopa, W side of ravine on slopes of Pico de
Orizaba. 2730 m. 97° 12' 40"W, 19° 06' 25"N.
In disturbed pine-oak cloud forest. Culms mostly ca. 2 m
tall, to 1.5 cm In diameter, erect, branches ascending.
Branching intravaginal but the sheaths splitting. Foliage
leaves light green and finely tessellate. Fringe of hairs
present at the base of the culm leaf sheath.
