Mexico. Tamaulipas. Along now dry riverbank at bridge of highway Mex. 85, 11 km. southeast of outskirts of Ciudad Victoria.

Habitat
Matorral submontano. Brushy vegetation along banks of stream with rock-filled bed and now dry and with no sign of water. Two plants seen in sand and gravel in shade along river-bed.

Description
Apparently an annual or short-lived perrenial, without rhizomes. Foliage pale green because of the hairs, somewhat lighter below. Flowers seem to have a slight heavy sweet fragrance. Corolla white, recurved, with light green midribs, the lowest flower somewhat larger. Anthers yellow, free. One fruit, yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
