area. About .3 mi SW of Hwy 77 on Randolph CR 843.
Near confluence of Wolfpen Creek and an unnamed,
smaller intermittent creek. T22S, R10E, S4 SW1/4 of
NW 1/4. Wadley North Quad (7.5 min). N lat. 33° 8'
23.9" x 85° 37' 30.6".
Along dry creek bed in a hardwood understory. Partially
shaded location in granite rocky substrate. Growing
under Quercus, Cornus, and Liquidambar. Elev. 710 ft.
