intermittent stream flowing into the Savannah
River; area clear-cut in 1977; formerly pine-
hardwood canopy. Site #4 (Lat. 34°03,34"; Long.
82°37,40"), ca. 1.25 miles due northwest of Russell
Dam site on the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft.
contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake).
