Ascocarp up to 1 cm tall, 2.2 cm diam, subglobose. Outer surface rugulosa,
brownish orange (near 6C5) or paler, unchanging, velutinous, dry. Interior
convoluted, excipular tissue extending into the convolutions from the
exterior. Odor strong farinaceous, taste none.
