  • Description

    Pileus 15-25 mm broad, plano-umbonate with a low broad, but prominent, umbo, moist and subviscid, slightly radially subrugulose and finely appressed fibrillose, dark olive to nearly black on disc, orange at margin. Flesh dark watery brown, with slight raphanoid odor. Lamellae adnexed, close, broad, dark orange to rusty orange, with even edges. Stipe 4-9 cm long, 2-4 mm broad, tapering and somewhat subradicating, silky shiny fibrillose and yellow above, progressively more orangish brown below, staining black in one, with some scant cortinate squamules.
