Van Creek. Site #118 (Lat. 34o08’30"; Long.
82°43,22"), ca. 0.75 mile west of the confluence of
Van Creek with the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft.
contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake). Area
to be impounded in mid-1980’s by U. S. Army Corps of
Engineers.
