Montane forest. Nothofagus menziesii, N. solandri var. cliffortioides. Scattered. On soil.

Description
Pileus 3-11 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, back to dark brown, sometimes with a hint of lilac. Flesh white, with some slight scattered pinkish stains. Tubes white at first, vinaceous pink with maturity. Stipe 5-10 cm broad, equal slightly curved, black, subvelutinate with obscure low ridges below, white at base.
