PLANTS OF ILLINOIS, USA Bromus inermis Leyss. Poaceae Del.: S.R.Hill, (ILLS) 2004 CASS COUNTY East side of US Route 67, alongside powerline rights-of-way and highway on west-facing sand ridge, between Morgan County line and Honey Point Road, about 8 miles south of Beardstown. Sand ridge, deep sandy soil. Cleared strip along disturbed sand forest, with sand prairie species, including Opuntia humifusa, Commelina erecta, Rhus aromatica, Bromus tectorum.
