  • Description

    1.5-6 cm broad, subglobose to irregular in outline, white to blue green, staining red when cut or handled, dry at first becoming viscid with age. Gleba dull brown at first becoming chocolate brown with age, marbled and somewhat gelatinous, not loculose, arising from fine white rhizomorphs.
