On creekside bank ca. 5 m. from and 4 m. above water. Brown clay. Grasses, near Salix nig.-Celtis laev. Perennial herb, 0.6-0.9 m. Tufted, w. other grasses, especially Stipa leucotricha. Yellow green lemmas.
