POACEAE
Herbs to 2ft tall, abundant in moist to wet spots. Along
a small seasonal creek and moist swale in an open
woodland on loamy soil (Redding gravelly loam, 0 to 3
percent slopes; fine, mixed, active, thermic Abruptic
Durixeralfs). With Air a caryophyllea, Anthoxanthum
aristatum, Avena barbata, Briza minor, Bromus
secalinus, Carex longii, Cyperus eragrostis,
Dichelostemma sp., Eleocharis macrostachya,
Eryngium articulatum, Glyceria occidentalis, Jurtcus
tenuis, Lolium multiflorum, Mimulus guttatus,
Odontostomium hartwegii, Pinus sabiniana, Quercus
douglasii, Q. wisilzenii, Rumex crispus, Taeniatherum
caput-medusae & Trifolium hirtum. Along the N. side
of Rt. 299, about 100ft W. of the intersection with Jim
Harvey road and about 3.8mi E. of the Interstate-5
overpass. Shasta Co. Elev. 650ft. 40°37'35.5"N
