sand ridge complex densely forested with Pinus virginiana and sparse Carya and Quercus, Cladonia rangiferina and Cladonia subtenuis dominant, small relict openings with mixed hardwoods (Acer, Carya, Quercus) and wet areas with Ilex opaca. on the bark of a pine (Pinus).
