Habitat
Rocky outcrop in Acacia desert scrub,oreganillo locally abundant. Aloysia wrightii, Acacia contricta, Acacia greggii, Prosopis velutina, Larrea tridentata, , Muhlenbergia porteri.

Occasional perennial to 65 cm. Stolons present, blades involute.
