GLASS MOUNTAIN REGION: Dexter Creek: Streamside appx. 1.5 mi. E of Crooked Meadows, along 4WD road leading up steep hill to FS Rd. 1N02. (Dexter Cyn quad: 37° 49.65'N, 118° 49.223'W; T1S R29E S30, NE/4 of SE/4). Alt.: 2622m/8600ft.
Deep stream-cut canyon running W-E. Granitic outcrops above silty pumice alluvium on canyon floor. Riparian vegetation of Populus tremuloides, Smilacina stellata, Aquilegia formosa, Epilobium angustifolium, Ribes cereum, Mimulus primuloides, Taraxicum, Dodecatheon, Salix, Potentilla. Dry uplands with Pinus contorta, Artemesia tridentata, Purshia tridentata.
Scattered along moist meadow edges.
