Perennial creek cutting through fine decomposed pumice soil. Heavily grazed upland vegetation with Artemesia tridentata, Chrysothamnus nauseosus. Streamside with Rosa woodsii,
Salix lutea, Distichlis spicata, Senecio hydrophilus, Carex nebrascensis, Hordeum jubatum, Juncus.
Scattered on streambanks.
