Grazed, cultivated land. With scattered oaks. Colony of about 50 plants on west side of road, in brush.

Description
Stems 2-4 ft. high, from wood bases; corollas uniform color outside, deep, bright red (near Munsell 10RP 5/10), white with red guide lines within. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
