T4N R9W, S/2 SE/4 section 22, ESE-ward to SW/4 section 25; elevation ca. 5600-6400 feet. Ridgetop with disturbed Pinus monophylla woodland, with scattered shrubs such as Fremontodendron californi-cum, Quercus john-tuckeri, Cercocarpus beluloides, Cea-nothus greggii vestitus, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, etc. Tufted perennial; apparently introduced locally by the U.S. Forest Service.
