Along road to Pozo Anchorage, 0.2 miles from intersection with Sauces Canyon Road, along ridge on S side of Canada de los Sauces. Localized; N-facing slope, in openings between Quercus dumosa; Chaparral. Elevation: 270 feet. Associated species: Corethrogyne filaginifolia, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Achillea millefolium, Aster radulinus, Silene laciniata, S. gallica, Lasthenia cali fornica, Plantago erecta, Claytonia perfoliata, Clarkia epilobioides.
