Guatemala. 10 km. to the west of the turnoff to Antigua on the road vfrom Guatemala City to Chiquimula close to the village of Sumpango.

Description
2 m. bushes with red brown stems. Pubescence on both stems and flowers. The leaves are mid green with a red rachis. The flowers have green calyces and black haired corollas. Staminal filaments are bright red. The style is pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
