Growing beneath pine and oak forest.

Description
3 m. bushes with dark brown stems covered in red or brown pubescence. Glossy green leaves above, paler beneath. Floral racemes bearing brown pubescent flowers. Long, red staminal filaments present. Inner petals cream with red tinges. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
