    Rainforest. Eucalyptus sp., Lophostemon sp. Solitary. On soil.

  • Description

    Pileus 4.5 cm broad, convex, dry, appressed squamulose scaly to flattened lanose, yellow brown, quickly cyanescent then brown. Flesh white, quickly and intensely deep blue with some lilac and this latter staining white paper lilac, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, white and not cyanescent, with pores yellowish white and cyanescent. Stipe 40 mm x 13 mm, curved and equal, dry, appressed sublanose, yellowish white above, brown below, quickly cyanescent, with interior chambered and quickly cyanescent on the "rind.".
