Sierra de Bahoruco Mtns., Las Abejas Ravine, ca. 50 km. from Cabo Rojo on the Alcoa Aluminum Road, ca. 10 km. W of the end of the paved road (ca. 20 km. N of Perdenales). Elev. 1100-1200 m. Wet ravine cloud forest with abundant epiphytes; rich organic soil.
Common herb to ,75m. Petals white, berries purple.
