Hydrocotyle cubensis Rose, »p. nov.
Resembling H.unbellata in Its type of leaves but It Is weak and the
flowers Instead of being In simple umbels are arranged in verticillate
clusters. In its inflorescence more resembling H. australis and H.ver-
ticlllata but with lsnger pedicels. It differs from all three in its cu-
neate fruit(Immature)
Here seems to belong a part of C.Wright’s no.214i Pollard and Palmer's
no.314 from Palmarito,Orientalej and Schafer^s no.363 from La Gloria.

reaches me somewhat the worse for the trip. We have nothing like it in
the National Herbarium. It is near H.pygmea Wright, but certainly diS*-
tinct. It may be an undescribed species.^
