Highly disturbed forest, dense and difficult to walk. Large areas covered with Gleichenia and Arthrostylidium/Chusquea?. Scandent shrub ca. 3 m long, with numerous, short lateral branches; inflorescence drooping; fruits ascending, nearly globose, reddish.
