Twigs emit a spicy scent when broken/cut. Growing in-between two clearings overgrown with vines. With Toxicodendron radicans growing up the trunks. Growing in an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Rosa multiflora, Aralia elata, Erythronium americanum, and Celastrus orbiculatus. Matthew C.
