On gentle NE-facing slope. With Artemisia, Grayia, Tetradymia & Chrysothamnus. In gravelly sand.

Description
Perennials to 50 cm tall; lower stems with mostly 3- to 5-rayed hairs; cauline leaves with auricles to 2 mm long; fruiting pedicels divaricate-ascending, curved downward, to 9 mm long, with branched hairs distally; petals whitish but aging pale lavender, to 7 x 2 mm; pollen spheroid; fruits widely pendent, to 50 x 2 mm, glabrous; ovules mostly irregularly buseriate. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
