    On gentle north-facing slope. Under Juniperus; with Bouteloua, Lycium, & Gutierrezia. In sandy duff soil.

  • Description

    Short-lived perennials to 40 cm tall; lower stems with 2- to 5- rayed hairs; cauline leaves with auricles to 3 mm long; fruiting pedicels divaricate-ascending to horizontal, to 10 mm long, glabrous or with scattered, branched hairs; petals whitish, to 7.5 x 2 mm; pollen spheroid; fruits divaricate to widely pendent, glabrous; seeds mostly uniserate. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
