(SR #128), ca. 8 miles west of Newport, Pocosin Wilderness, Croatan
National Forest. - elev. 25-30 ft. - UTM 18 319512E 3849097N - Lat. 34°
46' 05"N, Long. 76° 58' 20"W-Assoc, spp.: Fissurina insidiosa.
Thallus corticolous, foliose, esorediate, gray-blue; underside pale; upper
surface pitted and rough; marginal lobules poorly developed.
