    Suffrutescent herb, ca. 1.5 m tall, branching ca. 0.5 m from base of erect stem. Stem and branches green; petioles and major abaxial leaf veins dark purple. Mature fruit bright red-orange, globose, ca. 1 cm in diameter, the pedicel erect, directed upward, purple near base, apically dirty white like calyx. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
