    "1855'99 Carya glabra Ex L 55/99, NYBG native, natural". Very likely a spontaneous native tree. Tree 45 cm in diameter; bark finely furrowed, in part loosely scaly'platy. specimens from intermediate between sun leaves and shade leaves, also shade leaves on sterile branchlets. Fruits 2 together. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
