PLANTS OF PUERTO RICO COLLECTED FOR THE HERBARIUM OF DUKE UNIVERSITY Leonurus sibiricus L, DISTRITO DE PONCE: Municipio de Adjuntas. Barrio de Limani. Weeds in field in high mountains several miles from Mt. Silla de Calderon. Anthers dark brown. Stamens pale pink. Style pale pink. Sepals green with white hairs; the tips and margins of the sepals having reddish tinge. Lower lobe of corolla pink, strongly marked with red; upper lobe pale pink. Local name is "cebadilla." When animals have open wounds with worms, the natives of this area grind up this plant and put it on the open wound to kill the worms. Ernesto Cintron Montalvo and william r.
