Habitat
Evergreen montane/promontane wet forest. Common along tral.

Description
Semiwoody vine. Vegetatively difficult to distinguish from the equally common Monopyle sp. (cf. Clark #6298). Calyx lobes red and persistent. Nectary with 5 glands. Ovary superior. Fruit a capsule dehiscing on dorsal surface. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
